It has been a rough day. For the first time at this new job I actually thought about just chunking it all and quitting. There was a lot of frustration on the part of every body today and once I got out the venting at lunch, I actually felt better. I also had a heart to heart with my boss and felt much better. It is amazing what actually communicating will do! No worries, I am still good as gold. She still has all the faith in the world in me which is why she seems to put so much on me. But she has lectured me about feeling like I have to take on the world. Her favorite term is DELEGATE!!!! I just seem to have a problem with that :-). I think tomorrow (or today, really) when I work from home, things will be much better. I will have a new outlook on things and will go in on Thursday with a new perspective. This is such a difficult client that sometimes I just want to rip my hair out. Seriously, I had better have a darn good bonus at the end of this quarter (and I think I am going to renegotiate it up a little more at review time!!!). And I know how to document everything they are looking for now, so you know I will be prepared next time.
The hives were back this week. They are gone now though. I think it is a mixture of stress, hormones and not really sleeping well. Yeah, I know, being on the computer at 12:30 AM doesn't help the sleep bit, huh!!! I thought of something I had to follow-up on so instead of fretting about it, I just did it. I think I am going to right a little bit about communication now since that is on my mind. (For class, I will spar you anymore musings about corporate communication).
Well, off I go. I am going to play with the cats and then fall asleep. Since I don't have to worry about showering and getting dressed in the morning, I can easily sleep until 8:00 and be ready to begin my day. (For those of you that are worried, I do take a break and shower in the morning. LOL)
Oh, by the way, Chicken Little is a very cute movie. I do recommend it!!! The new Jennifer Aniston movie comes out this weekend (Mom?????). I am looking forward to that! Oh, and saw new pics of pregnant Katie today. She looks so cute :-).

Can't this weekend unless it is Friday, or an early viewing. I am helping with a wedding reception on Saturday it starts at 5:00 and I am helping host a shower on Sunday. First busy weekend in awhile. MOM
