Argh. 30 more minutes. I am itching to get out of this office and out into the fresh air. Yes, it will be muggy and rainy fresh air, but fresh air none the less. We are getting the fabulous string of Texas storms and it might just get bad tonight. As long as the weather co-operates and lets me get to the gym without becoming a wet rat, I will be happy. I worked out with Ryan for the first time in a week last night and the soreness is starting set it. Yes, I know, its a good thing, but still. I will be popping Advil tonight. He was sick on Sunday so we didn't get to work out then. But I have been a pretty good girl. I've done some kind of work out every day since Sunday. I have to -- water weight and crankiness seems to go away when I get in a good workout. We'll see if I am this good next week :).
Other than the workout, I just have a hair cut planned for tonight. I know, you are thinking, watch out for Kim. She is just a party animal. Truthfully tonight, after the errands, I just feel like curling up on the couch with the kitties and watching movies. I have 2 still out for Netflix that I need to watch. And I missed ANTM last night and I have avoided who got kicked off today - so, I need to watch that as well. Fun, fun!
Have a great Thursday and stay dry!

Mid Week Review
While I have been busy, it hasn't really been anything to write about. Just things here and there. This past weekend was very good, and I spent a lot of money. It was all stuff I needed, but still! That is the joy of the tax return though. You get to buy the little extras you need but never get around to getting. Mike and I hit the Reebok outlet store on Sunday and got some fun stuff. Since it is getting warmer, I need more shorts for working out in.
Last night I hit the spin class again. I hate to admit it, I had slacked off in that area. I realized how much I missed it. You know it is a good class when you can't walk afterwards. I think my legs went out on me a couple of times walking to and from the car. It was nice to be back though. That is the one class I really need to be vigilant about. I can feel the calories burning away! Pilates and yoga are just happy extras. I slept a heck of a lot better last night too. Didn't wake up once during the night (I had been waking up at 1:00 every morning. It was so fun.......). Plus, it is an awesome way to relieve stress, esp during the week of PMS.
I don't think I have anything planned this weekend -- oh, except for dragging Mike to see "Blades of Glory" which opens up on Friday night. Since it is a movie I want to see (Jenna Fischer -- Pam on the "Office" has a role in it) I am going to treat him to it. It has Will Ferrell in it, I know Mike will like it. It isn't like I am dragging him to see "The Last Mimzy" (Rainn Wilson, aka Dwight from the Office) is in that one. Mom, you get to see that one :). I will let you know how it is. The previews for "Blades" seem pretty funny and hopefully I am not disappointed! If they weren't good actors, I wouldn't think twice about seeing their movies, but I enjoy them on the small screen and think they deserve some big screen success! I geek out to the Office. I know..........
So, everyone have a happy Wednesday! (Watch out for the dramallama...........)

I need sunshine!
It is dark and dreary and it isn't helping my mood! I am on my second cup of coffee so hopefully I will be happy and awake soon. And, of course, if it isn't raining, I will run to the Bank of America building for my daily Starbucks hit :).
This week has been pretty much me being tired and crabby. It must just be from the weather, but everything is going well. Mike's birthday was a lot of fun. I took him to Rock and Roll Sushi on Saturday night. We had been there before but this time it wasn't as good. It was still sushi though and I was happy. Sunday I went to brunch with him and his Mom, Sis and BIL. It was so good and I was so full. My biggest weakness was the dessert table -- it had all sorts of yummy treats, including a chocolate fountain. I wish I had Mike's lack of desire for anything sweet because as it was, I had to limit myself to certain goodies. I really could have just taken down that whole table. All in all, Mike was thoroughly spoiled all weekend and of course, he enjoyed it all. Now I can go back to ignoring him :). J/k.
Okay, time to get focused and get some stuff done. I am taking Friday off for some girl time and and so I want to make sure everything is taken care of by tomorrow afternoon. Have a great Wednesday!

Happy Birthday Mike!!!
Today is Mike's birthday. Happy Birthday baby :).
The St. Patrick's Day parade took over Greenville Ave this morning and trying to get out of my apartment complex was a pain in the booty this morning! I wanted to get to the gym by 12:30 and it wasn't easy. As I was trying to get out, I kept wondering if Pilates was really, really worth it. It was though and it was nice to work out. In past days, I would have turned my car around and stayed home. Not these days! :)
Since it is Mike's birthday, I am taking him to dinner tonight. I think he will like Chuck E. Cheese. (It is a surprise, so just in case he reads this, I am not going to say where I am really taking him!)
Have a wonderful St. Patrick's Day!

Don't wanna be here
I haven't had enough coffee to get me going. I don't understand, I get enough sleep at night. I am just having a very hard time getting around in the am. You would think working out, eating right and sleep would help my energy level. Maybe it is because it is dark when I get up in the morning and I still think that I should be asleep. I am sure I will be better come 10 or so! And to top it all off, I left my cell phone at home. I feel a little lost. Not that many people call me during the day, but I still feel like I am missing something!
Last night I had dinner with an old friend I hadn't seen in FOREVER. We lost touch for a brief moment (well, enough time lapsed where she got pregnant and had a baby boy....... so I guess it was more than a "brief" moment!). To tell you how long it had been, she hadn't seen me when I had the weight gain and subsequent weight loss. That has been a long time! So, we finally got together last night so we could catch up and I could meet her new kid. He is 7 months old now. Cute, cute kid. He has no hair (okay, very light blond hair that you can't see) and this adorable big ears. He was a good kid too. He wasn't fussy and didn't cry. He even let me hold him. It was nice to catch up with her and finally see her after all this time! Now the plan is to not loose touch like that again!!!
Okay, well, I have to get back to work. Fun, fun!!!

My Night at Target
So, last night was pretty boring. Nothing earth shattering happened at work, or at the gym. I worked out after work (after playing the "if I go home, will I really get back out at 7:30 to go do cardio and then yoga" game. That answer was no, so I went right then and there. I know myself all too well!). I went to Target because Chloe's birthday is coming up and I needed to get the gift so I could ship it out to CA. I had found the cutest dress on line but they didn't have it in the store. I did find some cute shoes -- yes, for her, and so I got those and a Weeble playset. Yes, I know you are surprised by the Weebles. :). I can't wait until she is old enough to get the Easy Bake Oven. They have so many more accessories for that thing now a days. Yes, any future daughters I have will get an Easy Bake oven! And Weebles............ After getting her goodies, I went shopping for myself. And, did end up with a pair of shoes for myself. And a couple of shirts. And random stuff for the house. I think I spent an hour in that store. After having worked out and trying to deal with tiredness from the time change, I just dragged myself away from there a very tired gal.
I watched "Engaged and Underaged" last night. I have been addicted to this train wreck of a show since it started. It is pretty interesting and horrifying all at the same time. I didn't watch the ending but, did DVR it so I can zoom through the commercials tonight. I have to give the guy's sisters credit -- they were trying to talk some sense into the guy. He is 22. She is 19. They had been on and off for the past 5 years. And she is pregnant. All I can wish is the best for these couples!
Well, that is it! Have a great Tuesday.

Why you should always be fully awake when you text......
"Nothng rt now. The fun pavs is that."
(I have no idea what I was trying to tell Mike at this point........).
The weekend was good. I am very tired but that probably has a lot to do with the time change! I don't like waking up when it is still dark outside. Very, very hard!!! I have a lot to do, so focus is now the name of the game :).
Have a great Monday!

Now I know why I can't breathe!
I was driving home from the gym and noticed that white flowery tree that pops up around this time of year. And then it hit me! That is why I have been having more trouble than normal with allergies lately. This tree pops up -- i can't breathe. So, these trees need to go away. I don't know the name of it. It just annoys me. It has even popped up around my apartment. Frickin tree.........
Other than that, everything is great! It was gorgeous today. My work out was great. America's Next Top Model is on now. So happy :). I need to do some cleaning, but I am still resting from the day. After ANTM goes off, I will be cleaning away! Then I may dope up on Benedryl (you know, since the freakin white flower tree is making it hard to breathe.....) and go to bed early.
Time to go. Have a great evening!!!

Weekend Wrap-up
This was a good weekend. Friday night I met Mia, Jen and Angela at Parma in Lewisville for dinner. It was, as always, very yummy. I also finally got to give Mia her birthday present (she had to miss our joint birthday dinner due to the flu!) so that was fun. And, yeah, I got mine :).
Saturday was pretty busy. I started at 8:30 with the spin class. I don't know why - I think it was the bike - but it was much harder than the 24 Hour spin class. Same time frame, I just kept getting super high heart rate readings and very out of breathe. It felt great and I actually liked seeing scenery while doing a "ride". I made it through, but I was exhausted after I completed it! Jen was due at my place at 11:30 so I had a little time to clean up and rest. Luckily we were headed to the MAC counter for make overs (just for fun.... we were being girly) and so I didn't have to worry about makeup. I did, however, have wonderful red marks due to the sweat and heat on my skin. I looked like a leper. Kind of like my hives, just very temporary! Jen and I went to the MAC counter, got all glamed up and then had lunch at a new place in the mall -Kona. They have an awesome happy hour -- appetizer prices that are just great. You wouldn't think a place in the mall would be a happening hang out, but it really is a fun place. (Happy Hour is only for the patio and bar area, just in case you were intersted). (By the way, we tried the new Barbie for MAC collection. The makeup artist tried this pink lipstick on me. It was a pretty color.... just not on me. On the way to lunch, I was wiping it off....... all the other colors looked great on me though :)).
My Dad's birthday was on Saturday as well. He turned 60! Wow. Happy Belated blog mention :). We had dinner at Mariano's -- awesome Mexican food and the home of the first ever frozen margarita! They have great margaritas and pretty awesome salsa for the chips. (This has apparently turned into the weekend restaurant review......).
Sunday I woke up with a migraine. Argh! I HATE those. (like I am going to love them.....). I had to cancel Ryan that morning and really got no working out done on Sunday. I finally felt better and went with Mike to Frisco to visit an old friend of his (along with Mike's roommate and that roomies girlfriend). It was a lot of fun and pretty interesting to see Mike interact with someone from his past. The friend is married with a little one, so I spent a lot of the day talking to his wife and playing with the kid. All in all, it was a lot of fun.
So, today I got back into work. Yippee..... finally got my expense report done. I don't know why it took me so long, but I finally got it to my PM. I think that was the extent of my production today. Oh well. There is always tomorrow! (And, I did get some more things done. I wasn't a lazy brat today. )
So, happy Monday night. I think I am going to curl up with a movie and get myself relaxed so I can get some sleep. Good night!

Hurry up, 4:30!!!
The work day is almost over. And I can't wait. I am trying to get things done, I promise. But, I am looking forward to dinner tonight with Mia and Jen; Shopping tomorrow with Mia and Jen (yeah, I see a lot of Mia and Jen. Good thing I love them, huh :)); Dad's birthday is this weekend; and I am tagging along with Mike to visit an old friend on Sunday. It is amazing how last weekend was very slow and this one will be super packed. I am even going to a spin class on Saturday morning. Now, I know you are thinking, that is nothing new, you do those all the time, but this one is a little different. The instructor will project scenes from Oregon or Washington State (anything to simulate a real bike ride) onto the wall. Sounds like the pretty scenery will keep me from focusing on the pain :). I'll let you know how it goes. I have to get up and go to this because I had to sign up for it and there are only 8 slots. It is pretty obvious if I don't go. So, we'll see :).
Other than that, nothing much is going on. I will try to get a few things done before the day is over, but really, my head is at the gym right now.
