The cable man came today and finally set it up. I still don't know why they can't switch the signal -- I could set up the equipment. It isn't that hard. Anyway, thanks to my fantabulous man for waiting for the cable man. It kept me from having to take PTO. That PTO can be better utilized elsewhere!
Yesterday afternoon I had a presentatition for the Area Directors and Assistant ADs. It went pretty well -- at least nobody told me it stunk :). It was short and sweet and got me away from the office. The funny part of the meeting was that everyone seemed to know me, but alas, there is one of me and 20 of them. So, I had to ask who certain people were. I hardly ever see them, so really, it isn't too realistic for me to know them all!!!
So, now that everything is over at my new place, the challenge will be to get it all set up the way I want it. I guess if I have gotten along with out it this past week, I might just take the box and throw it out. I just want to make the 2nd bedroom as functional as possible pretty soon. And I never want to move as much crap as I did this time.
Okay, well nothing else is going on today! The oh so interesting plan is to turn in the keys to the old place, go to Spin class (Ben, the butt kicker, is teaching so I am looking forward to it!) and come back to watch some much missed cable. Nope, I am not an addict..... I do have to set up the DVR for Shark Week.... It is a Mike thing :)>.
