The Parking Lot is Getting Empty

As the day goes on, there are less and less cars in the parking lot. Kind of expected being that it is the day before Thanksgiving. I was actually busy this morning, but this afternoon has slowed down. That is not all a bad thing, since I have found some good new recipes to try out.

I have to go back to the grocery store this afternoon since I didn't get everything I needed at Central Market last night. And I am kind of dreading going to Tom Thumb. The crowds are gonna be massive! Yesterday, at CM, they were crazy!!! I actually witnessed a lady start yelling because they ran out of brown paper bags to bag her groceries. Um, lady, Happy Thanksgiving to you........ I was hustled to the express lane by the manager (I was a little over the 15 items!) and was out pretty quickly. And I had the nicest check out gal. And I didn't yell because they didn't have brown bags!

Well, really nothing else to report today. My evening is going to be full of cooking and watching Top Chef :). Maybe I will even get some ideas from them. It is the Thanksgiving episode.

So, I am sure I won't have a chance to blog tomorrow - Happy Thanksgiving to all! I am thankful for my supportive family, supportive friends, for Mike (everybody now -- AWWW), and for my health and ability to move and be physical. Some people just don't have that and I am lucky. I am also thankful I no longer work at ZC!!! (But we all know that!!)

Later!

(BTW..... The font color is supposed to be for Thanksgiving. I realize it looks kind of burnt orange. Obviously not my intent....... although, while on the subject "Go Aggies!!" If we get rid of the coach, we might actually have a chance to win on Friday......... more later. I am not talking smack AT ALL before this game....... )
