I am sitting at work because, well, for some reason all the bad weather is AROUND Dallas, not actually in my area of Dallas. There is nobody in Downtown today (well, except me and a few of my co-workers). The weather is cold, rainy and dreary. I kind of like it actually! I found my gloves, so that makes it much better. I did realize this morning I need some cuter winter clothing (yes, random thought). There is no plan to shut down the office at this point since DISD is still open and most of the major school districts are still open. That is our gauge for office closings. And I live so close there is no point in eating up my PTO to stay home. Actually, I had a very fast commute this morning! Nobody was on Central and no one was coming into Downtown. It really isn't too bad - I'd just be home watching TV. I do plan to leave a little early though to avoid road problems. I think 2:30 or 3 is good.
Other than that, there is nothing really going on in the world of Kim. It is pretty status quo, which is really not a bad thing these days. I do have plans next week to hook up with a few friends from ZC. Yes, I actually liked one or two of the people I left behind........ I hadn't spoken to them in forever. They didn't even know I had a boyfriend! It had been awhile. :)
Okay, time to get a little more done. I have a quiet office -- I need to take advantage of that fact! Speaking of Office..... there is a new episode on tonight!!! And it is written by the creators of the British version -- I heard it is pretty awesome. But, yes, I believe all Office episodes are awesome........ So, well, it is extra awesome :).
