It is rainy today and it is wonderful. It has actually cooled things down for now. This weekend has been pretty good. Friday night I went to Denton to see Saints and Sinners. They were fabulous, as always. Saturday, my upstairs neighbor had a birthday party so we went to that. It was a lot of fun and she had tons of food! And she had birthday cake, which is always good!!! She had so much food left over so she brought some down for Mike and I. A lot of it is going back to Mike's place since there are 3 big guys there who need the food. Plus, some of it was chicken, so it isn't gonna get eaten here!!!
Today really has been lazy. I think I got out once to run an errand. I think it is time to curl up on the couch, read and enjoy the sound of rain. I was watching CNN but it was getting too depressing. So, I had to throw in some mind candy and it is now on E!. The Emmy's are tonight and I will be watching that to see if the Office wins their categories. I won't be able to watch the home thing -- but I will flip and watch some!!!
