Well, the rest of the weekend went pretty well. Mike and I had dinner with my parents at Boco De Beppo in Dallas. It is a great Italian restaurant -- family style like Maggiano's . There was a lot of food!!!! I have spaghetti for the rest of the week. Seriously........ Mike liked my family and the family seemed to like him too, so all is good! We ended up just watching a movie afterwards, because after pasta and wine, you really don't want to move too much!
Sunday, we did get to see "Talladega Nights". It was a very fun movie. Will Farrell just kept me in stiches. The theater was PACKED! I don't think there was actually an open set. We ended up sitting on the 3rd row!!! That made it rather interesting, especially during the race scenes.
Sunday night, Mom and I went to see "The Full Monty" at a local theater. I have to tell you, I haven't had that much fun at a theater event in a LONG time!!!! Theater Three is a small, intimate theater in the round so you really get to see the actors up close and personal. And we sat on the front row, so it was definitely up close and personal! It was a very "naughty" comedy so don't go if you are easily offended! But I thought it was absolutely hysterical and the actors were so good. And they do pull off the last scene very well,considering it is a theater in the round! Just think back to the movie and you will understand what I am talking about.:-) I really did laugh until I cried!!!
So, today is Monday and I start another week. I am sure it will be a good week -- we'll just keep that mantra going!!! Have a good one!
