The weekend has been good so far. A few exciting moments thrown into reading, cleaning and watching movies. I finally decided to go to fish and had SUSHI on Friday night. Yes, true, fish sushi. Oh my, how I missed Unagi!!! I had been thinking about it for awhile -- adding fish back into my diet -- so this was just a good time. No there will be no red meat or chicken thrown in there, so don't ask! Fish won't be all the time because really, if you haven't eaten it in a while there is a serious fishy taste.
I was reading school work yesterday and came across a HUGE error -- have to write a letter to the editors on that one. They were talking about nonverbal communication and what certain things mean to different people. The discussion of the thumbs up came and the quote from the book is "although the same gesture means 'hook 'em' to students at TEXAS A&M". NO,NO,NO,NO!!!!!!!!!!!! Even if you don't know anything about Texas schools, an editor of a college text book should get that fact RIGHT!!!!!!! (To those who don't know, it means "Gig 'Em" to the Aggies. Hook em is a totally different gesture) Argh. So, if they get that wrong, what else are they getting wrong! I can guarantee my professor won't care, so I am just going to get the address of the publishing house.
