I pulled all the information for my class yesterday afternoon. There are some pretty interesting assignments. I am taking Persuasion and Leadership/Development. Both are going to be very interesting. There will be tons of writing, but I am ready now. I am particularly liking the assignments for Persuasion. One is analyzing the presidential campaign of Bill Clinton (thank God it wasn't Bush. I would not have enjoyed that one. I guess his was so controversial, she didn't want to go there!). I have to do a persuasive argument on one of three topics. My favorite is whether it is possible to stop the Bird Flu. I think I will say no. It might be kind of fun to argue the opposite opinion of what I actually have. There is also a paper on Social Movements and in that I have to research the movement of the selection of John Roberts. That will be fun. Don't worry, I will be respectful. I want to make an A :-). The Leadership class will be great too. It is being facilitated by my favorite professor, Dr. Watson. I am really looking forward to it!!!
So, 7 weeks, 11 assignments, work and the gym. Friends..... What are friends :-).
Oh, speaking of the gym, I did get in my second session with Ryan. I feel a little more comfortable with him now. I was having a serious allergy attack yesterday, which really throws off the balance. Lunges and squats aren't easy to begin, but when you have stuffed ears, it makes life a little difficult. I made it through so that is good. He has sworn up and down he is going nowhere so I am stuck with him. Unless of course he dies or is thrown in jail (his words, not mine!)
Have a great Sunday. Gonna start school work!!!
