As I sit here and read CNN, Alternet.org, and all the emails from my pro-choice groups, I am reminded that today is the day the Alito hearings began. Everyone knows he is the Supreme Court nominee chosen by Bush to replace Sandra Day O'Connor. Most of my readers know my main issue with anyone chosen to sit on that court. A woman's right to privacy (actually anybody's right to privacy) is a huge deal with me and I need to get my head out of the sand and watch this thing that is going on. Sometimes my own little world prevents me from seeing the big picture (only ever so often though!) Alito might be the best we have -- who knows. And you know with the class on persuasion, I will be testing all my theories on you guys :-). (Needed to add some levity. Hehe).
Later!
