It has been good so far. I had a 12:30 phone call with the woman who would actually be my boss at Zero Chaos. It was a good interview, but she now wants to meet me face to face. So, that probably means no offer today. I know what is happening and I understand. However, I understand now how my candidates felt when I called them and had to tell them "one more step". I am really laughing now. I will continue to research other avenues, because if I don't get this, I really don't want to have to start over. Or, maybe there is something even better that I will find and have to turn Zero Chaos down. Who knows. I have plenty of time -- I keep forgetting that. So, I'll let you know! I plan to stop talking about it though -- don't want to jinx it. Kind of like when I first meet a guy I like -- I don't talk about it so not to jinx it. Weird, I know, but I think that is pretty much universal.
I think my lunch hour is almost done. I didn't leave the office today because it is too hot. And we haven't even hit the hottest part of the summer (or technically even summer!). Why do I want to live in Dallas????
