After a ten hour plane ride, we finally arrived back in the States. I loved Paris, but man, it is great to be home!!! Now there are things I miss that I will be referring to for a long time in the blog!
Yesterday, we finally made it to the Louvre. It was amazing. We had a pretty funny tour guide. I don't remember her name, but she had a Julia Childs voice and must have been a third grade teacher in a previous life (do you have your ticket to the Louvre??? We must stay together!!). She was full of interesting facts and we learned a lot. We then had lunch, where we ran into our truly first rude Parisian. And he wasn't really rude, as he was more an overactor. We laughed!
Well, I promise there will be more later. I just wanted to let everyone know we arrived safely. I do plan to post more stories from the past week as we go forward into June. It was a blast!!!
