Cat Drama

First of all, good morning to all! It is a wonderfully cool, happy Wednesday morning. That makes me super happy. But onto the morning events.......

I am getting ready for work when I hear a strange noise in the living room. I go in and Simon is lying on the floor like he has hurt his leg. He is meowing like crazy and Sierra is running around him, acting like he is hurt. I try to get him to walk and the cat is not moving. He is just lying there. This, of course, freaks me out! So, he eventually gets up, runs to the other room and proceeds to act like his leg is hurt once again. So, I call work with news that I might have to make an emergency trip to the vet and at the very least, will be late to work. Simon FINALLY starts walking so I can assess any limps the little guy might have. It looks like he is limping just a little so I decided no trip was needed to the vet just yet. He doesn't act like he's in pain (although I do know that cats tend to hide pain), and there is a very tiny limp. So, I will watch him tonight and see how he is doing. (And I was only about 30 minutes late to work.) But when I left for work, he was okay and that is all that matters. I still have no idea what he would have fallen from or how would have hurt himself.

So, now that I am here, I need to get some stuff done. Everybody have a great day!
