I found out this morning that Jon is coming home for Christmas!!!! Yippee :-). Mom emailed me and was trying to make me do that guess who's coming thing. Man, too early in the morning to play the guessing game! So, cool news very early in the morning.
My blacktie event last night was great. I love dressing up and playing all fancy :-). And I was meeting all sorts of Vice Presidents, CEOs and owners of companies. It was just an interesting energy. I did see one huge fashion faux paux on an award winner (for something in a minority business). A HUGE white scrunchy in this woman's hair. At a formal........ with a nice dress. I kept remembering the SATC episode where Carrie went on about the scrunchy!!! There was another lady who seriously looked like a peacock. I don't know what she was thinking. Who lies to these people saying they look good.........?
Anyway, I have a busy day ahead. I need to go run down one of my Resource Managers to get something done. Wish me luck :-).
