Sir Fuzzy Butt is doing well. His paw is healing up nicely and Friday might be his last day to wear the bandage. We went to the vet today and then he has an appointment on Friday morning. He still pouts - I never have seen a cat pout so much. Even the vet is amazed at how much he pouts! He certainly knows how to play pitiful. However I am so happy he is doing better.
Still no job. If I had interview stories, I'd share. Such is life.
I just got back from a DJCC committee meeting. I decided that since I would have some free time after Sept 30, I'd better get on a volunteer event that would not only help me professionally, but keep me busy! Johnny Sides Rookie of the Year is an amazing event that celebrates the Dallas Police Department and raises money for the Assist the Officer Foundation. I actually agreed to take over co-chair duties if one of the gals is sent in the field for work. I am not sure if I want her to go or stay!!! :) No matter what, I am excited to be involved!
