Just when you think life is just going along, hunky dory and fairly happy, the universe decides to throw a curve ball. But of course, why not? Last week I found out that due to budget cuts, my contract with OSHA will not be renewed. I have no job as of Sept 30. Awesome. I have to admit, it wasn't my favorite place and it is time to move on, however I wanted it on my OWN terms and with some control. Now, I do have 2 months and so I have some control over the job search and if I find something before the end of the fiscal year, I can certainly leave. And trust me, I am starting to shake that networking tree to find some leads so I can leave sooner than later. I am trying to remain positive and it will all work out in the end. When a door closes, a window opens. I just want the window to appear now.......... (patience has never been a strong attribute :)). So now I can have some interview great stories for the blog.
