Well, I guess I shouldn't have a happy exclamation point since that means tomorrow is Monday. And that means back to work. But hey, it was a good weekend.
Friday night I was going to stay in and take it easy. And then Michelle called. You know I am going to get into all sorts of trouble with her. We went to dinner at my coworkers new restaurant. He opened a sushi restaurant with his parents and it was actually very good. We were all about the Ahi Tower. It had a nice spiciness that was just perfect. If you are in the mood for a good sushi place in Dallas, let me know and I will get you the pertinent info! His opening the restaurant is why I get to learn Project Manager skills. When he isn't in the office, the others on our project come to me. It is so nice :).
Saturday, Jon and I went to see "The Wedding Singer" at the Dallas Summer Musicals. It was very cute -- not the best musical I have ever seen but it was funny and very entertaining. Plus the 80's references were great. It was set in 1985 so it was perfect timing for me to remember all the references they were throwing out. Now I have the urge to go see the movie again.........
Sunday was just Sunday. I was supposed to go to a rape seminar today but it was cancelled. Never fear, Ryan still teaches me self defense techniques. He said they will reschedule and he will let me know when. He did, however, beat me during our session today. So, really, it was probably a good thing the seminar was cancelled -- my arms were shaking and I don't think I could have thrown anybody off me during the afternoon. I am gonna be sore tomorrow, I am sure of it. I did get to use the punching bag today. Yep, I was excited. I had no aggression to get out today but I still felt great afterwards. :) So when I am actually mad, it will be even better!
