It is dark and dreary and it isn't helping my mood! I am on my second cup of coffee so hopefully I will be happy and awake soon. And, of course, if it isn't raining, I will run to the Bank of America building for my daily Starbucks hit :).
This week has been pretty much me being tired and crabby. It must just be from the weather, but everything is going well. Mike's birthday was a lot of fun. I took him to Rock and Roll Sushi on Saturday night. We had been there before but this time it wasn't as good. It was still sushi though and I was happy. Sunday I went to brunch with him and his Mom, Sis and BIL. It was so good and I was so full. My biggest weakness was the dessert table -- it had all sorts of yummy treats, including a chocolate fountain. I wish I had Mike's lack of desire for anything sweet because as it was, I had to limit myself to certain goodies. I really could have just taken down that whole table. All in all, Mike was thoroughly spoiled all weekend and of course, he enjoyed it all. Now I can go back to ignoring him :). J/k.
Okay, time to get focused and get some stuff done. I am taking Friday off for some girl time and and so I want to make sure everything is taken care of by tomorrow afternoon. Have a great Wednesday!
