Weekend Wrap-up

This will be a quick blog because I am running out of steam and need to go to bed soon! Friday I was expecting the service guy to set up my DVR (had to bring a new box, blah, blah blah). They call at 6:00 to let me know I have to reschedule. Um, not okay. I had to call back and set up a new appointment. They can't come until Tuesday 11-2. Yeah, that aint gonna work. I have jury duty. And if that wasn't happening, I have work! I decided to just go to the center to get the box on Saturday morning. Long story short, got the box on Saturday morning, set it up and all is hunky dorry. After calling them again because the menu wasn't lining up with the channels. What the........!!! It shouldn't be that hard to set up a freakin DVR. It is working now. But still.......

Mom and I drove to OK on Saturday afternoon to go to my cousin Amy's baby shower (well, I guess the party was really for baby Madyson, but she was being held by me and really no help with the opening of the presents....). Mady is soooooo tiny. She is less than 5lbs and man, it was just so weird to see her. I have never seen a baby that small in real life. Her sisters (9 and 6)are putting Cabbage Patch kid clothes on her. She is a beauty though. They pretty much let me hold her the whole time since they see her all the time. I did steal her from my Mom though. Sorry :). The wonderful thing was that as tiny as she was when she was born, she has no health problems and is doing very well. She even has a lot of hair. I wouldn't have thought she would, especially when she wasn't "cooked all the way"! They got some awesome gifts -- cute baby stuff. If you are really interested, I can show the pictures.

Tonight, the SAG awards were on! And I am so happy -- The Office won Best Ensemble for Comedy - TV and Little Miss Sunshine won for ensemble for Movies. I watched Little Miss Sunshine on the way to OK on the portable DVD player. It was so good! If you haven't seen it yet, you have to. I knew I'd like it, but man, it was great. I laughed and I cried. Sometimes at the same time. But, yes, you must see it! And I was happy they won. And I got to see Mike tonight, so of course that makes me happy :).

Have a great week!!!
