It was a pretty okay day. Nothing just too exciting. Invoicing crap made me remember why I wasn't happy in this job. But I have coping mechanisms in place to just deal. And I also got calls from headhunters with other jobs that kind of make a light at the end of the tunnel. The coolest thing happened yesterday. A gal that I worked with 5 years ago found my resume and actually has a job she wants to submit me for (she owns her own recruiting agency). It was just kind of nice for her to call me up, out of the blue and remember what I did that long ago. And she was like, I think you would be perfect for this job! Kind of cool. Okay, people will laugh. It is for Recruiting Manager. Yes, I know, I said I didn't want to do recruiting again.... but for what they want to pay, I can recruit again!!! So, we'll see. I figure the universe is starting to throw me some opportunities andI should explore them. I also think it is a testament to the fact that you never know what the future holds and so you shouldn't burn bridges in the present. That is why I am going to behave myself even in a job that isn't exactly what I want it to be.
