Christmas music on November 16. Um, no. I know it probably started yesterday on 103.7 but I was out sick yesterday. So, today, I get to enjoy it via loud cube neighbor's radio. So, until the day after Thanksgiving, that will consistently irritate me. How can I enjoy the music closer to the actual holiday if it is shoved down my throat mid-November? Maybe I am just too cranky today (but, no, I know me. It will annoy me until November 26.). Now I am going to finalize the menu and grocery list for the next holiday, Thanksgiving. I love Thanksgiving and everything about it. I need to create a Turkey song -- there has to be a market for a weird novelty song somewhere. (But, I do need to start thinking about Christmas gifts so Mom and Dad, need a list!) But if I hear "The Hippopotamus Song" before Thanksgiving, I will give in and belt that out. I do miss that song :).
I guess it is good I can be happy my Aggies are ranked #18 and totally kicking booty! I got a bit worried during the 1st half of the A&M/Baylor game last Saturday. All that trash talking and I was going to have to eat my words. But, they pulled through and I got to tell that special Baylor Bear to suck it. :).
