I swear, pregnancy is becoming an epidemic. This week alone, 2 people have told me they are pregnant (and Neil Patrick Harris just announced he and his partner are expecting twins. That got a super "AW!"). While I am happy for all, it is getting to the point where I am just not surprised anymore :). (Okay, one of them this week was a very happy surprise and special prayers go up for this special person! The people in the know know why she gets extra special thoughts and prayers. I won't be going into it on a public forum.). I had lunch today with an old high school friend who is almost 5 months pregnant. She finds out Thursday what she is having. I guess starting around Oct you will be hearing a lot about baby showers. And it is probably a good thing I like to buying for babies. I even checked out baby blankets at Target today. Monkeys make a good theme for a boys room, by the way :). (And, I guess a girls room too.)
Book club was fun on Thursday night. I really liked the book and it was a great discussion. I loved seeing Chloe and Colby before we started the meeting via Skype. Colby kept saying hi to the camera and she and Chloe would come up and hug in front of it. They were very adorable and it made me miss them even more! I wanted to hug them but all I could do was say "hi" back to Ms. Colby :). The next book club book is "The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud". Hopefully I will get it done before 6:00 on the night of the meeting....
Okay, off to get ready for dinner. Meeting my friend at 6:30 and looking forward to a nice night out! Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
