Friday!

So, not a lot to chat about but it seems like I have a busy weekend ahead. We are doing timed runs for the 5 leg relay at the White Rock Marathon. I am not where I want to be time wise however I was told not to stress about that. Just show up tomorrow and run to my little heart's content. The date is in 3 weeks so I still have time to get up to where I want to be. I have another friend doing the relay as well (a different team). She is doing the 4 mile leg. Boy, I wish I had gotten that one!! :). I will rock it, it will all be good.

Tomorrow night I was invited to attend the Idlewild Ball (yep, one of the Debutante balls). I already have a dress, but I want to get some new jewelry to punch it up (it's a black gown). It will be a ton of fun! I wanted to go to Banana Republic to look at their stuff, but I may not have time.

At some point this weekend, I need to finalize the grocery list for Thanksgiving and head to the store. I want to get that done this weekend because I have this feeling the store will get busier the closer to Thanksgiving we get! I do love that Tom Thumb has all the "essentials" placed together at the front of the store (well, Turkey in the back of course). But the pie stuff is together, gravy stuff, etc. You get the point. Just makes life easier. Even though, more than likely I will forget something. I always do!

Everybody have a happy and wonderful Friday. Even though it's dreary, I am feeling pretty good. It's payday -- that helps :). I am waiting for my registration to clear for an OSHA class - Construction Standards. Now that I am staring at a construction site, it might be very interesting. I am hoping there are still slots available!

And one more thing -- Christmas music should NOT be played 24/7 on the radio before Thanksgiving. Yes, i am buying gifts (even bought a 2 foot purple tinsel tree) but they certainly won't be wrapped before Thanksgiving and the tree won't be put out until Friday! (Well, the tree will be placed high on a shelf because of Frik and Frak.) Come on people. Let's be thankful before heading into craziness!!!
