The Week in a paragraph

Well, maybe more than a paragraph.....

Last Tuesday I went to trivia with Taylor and well, we didn't do to well! Last place. I now have a Piglet Pez dispenser (the prize for last place). We really were just there to have a few beers and chat, so our -4 points really didn't phase us. Yeah, -4! He, he. I don't think I actually got any of the questions right. There is nothing like Bar Trivia to make you feel like an idiot :)>. It was good to see Taylor though -- hadn't seen him in a long time.

Last Wednesday, I had the migraine from heck. I stayed at work but really should have gone home to sleep. I had to teach an Aqua class that night too and was trying to feverishly find a sub for my sub gig. No luck. So, the headache somewhat subsided and I taught anyway. You know, it wasn't half bad actually. I did end up reconnecting with someone I lost touch with and that has been nice. No details now, but I am happy this person is back in my life.

Thursday and Friday were pretty much business as usual and the weekend was good. Saturday I did my volunteer voter registration drive at the Planned Parenthood in Garland. It is a low traffic clinic and I actually was only able to register 2 people (everyone else was already registered to vote, which was good). So, while it was kind of disappointing, I did at least get 2 people registered. That is two more than before! So, anyway, the deadline to register to vote for the Nov 4th election is OCT 6!!! Remember!!

This week so far has been pretty good. I am caught up on sleep, I am catching up on the DVR recordings and I am happily waiting for my friend to come over. Everyone have a great evening!!!
