Don't worry, I did go out tonight. I just got back pretty early. I am sitting here at 11:30 watching CNN and the Hurricane coverage. I don't know why, but Ike is scaring the bejeebies out of me!!! This hurricane just seems like it is getting bigger and bigger. I mean, we are even supposed to feel the winds and rain in Dallas tomorrow. That is a big ass storm. I don't even remember following Katrina this closely. Maybe because of Katrina I am more intrigued, I don't know. I just know I am following it a lot more. I just pray that the damage and devastation they predict coming, doesn't. But this darn storm looks like an angry Pacman wanting to eat up Texas and LA. Good luck and God keep safe the folks on the Texas Coast!!! We have an office in Corpus and two in Houston so I hope those employees got out or at least hunkered down well. I guess we will find out next week.
Sarah Palin. Geesh. I still don't think this woman is qualified to be VP. I think I am more qualified to be VP. I really think she is fascinating and I would love to meet her. She would be fun to debate and just talk to over a drink in a bar. But the lady does not need to be a heart beat away from the presidency. And I seem to meet people who love her. Man, I don't like arguing (well, not twice in one day, which I did today :)). But, the idea that Tina Fey will play her on SNL just makes me giddy. Tina Fey is one truly talented woman and I love everything she does. That will be awesome.
Okay, back to CNN and the Weather Channel. Really nothing interesting happened this week. It was long and I am glad its Friday. I am looking forward to a relaxing weekend. I get to go see "Mama Mia" on the stage again with my mom on Sunday! Can't wait. It will be fun.
